Applied externally, the spilanthol can get into the skin and relax the skin muscles there like a gentle local anesthetic. Due to the reduced muscle tension, the skin surface is visibly tightened and smoothed immediately. In contrast to other neurotoxins (Botox), the muscles still remain mobile after application and the facial expressions are retained. - Imperata cylindrica root extract (silver hair grass) The extract of the plant roots of the silver hair grass (Imperata Cylindric) supplies the skin with potassium and maintains a balanced moisture content of the skin for up to 24 hours.
